The book explains what to do in order to make one's digital assets (e.g. photos and documents) available, findable and readable for people in the future. The author draws on his experience at the Czech National Library where he was in charge of Digitization and Long Term Digital Preservation. He protects the reader from the complexities of computer and library science and leads them to simple recipes how to preserve their digital riches using means available to everyone.
