About the Author
Laura Lush teaches creative writing and academic English in the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto. Her previous books include Carapace (Palimpsest Press, 2011), The First Day of Winter (Ronsdale Press, 2002), Going to the Zoo (Turnstone Press, 2002), Fault Line (Vehicule Press, 1997), and Hometown (Vehicule Press, 1991). Her poems and short stories have been widely anthologized in both Canadian and international journals. She lives with her son, Jack, in Guelph, Ontario.
