In this book, you will learn about all types of paradiddles: single, double, triple in all variations.

You will learn how to develop your technique through various additional exercises to help you master the paradiddle efficiently and improve them.

Most of all, however, you get to know the practical use of the paradiddle, on the snare drum and the drumset and you will also get to know how to mix them in a very useful way.

You learn better control over the paradiddles - the coordination of the arms and legs, the rhythmic compaction of the paradiddle patterns, and you develop dynamics by building appropriate exercises with accents and smooth volume change.

Starting with the hand patterns played on the snare drum, you learn to incorporate other instruments into your playing - toms, cymbals, bass drum.

You build effective grooves and drum fills based on the paradiddle schemes and learn to build up the exercises to make them denser and even more effective.

Nearly 150 music examples, illustrated with notes and video recordings of selected exercises, with an appropriate verbal description will help you get to know all types of paradiddle, carefully systematize your knowledge, learn to use them practically and finally love this way of building rhythm.

How to practice the paradiddle lessons?

1. Read the exercise description to understand the logic of the scheme and its use.

2. Study the exercise sheet music for careful note-by-note analysis

3.Watch a video lesson that I have prepared for each day - it illustrates most of the lesson's exercises and more.

4. Take up the challenge and practice the examples of each lesson - suggested time at least 5 minutes each exercise, or longer, if you want.
